Description

With twenty or more of the top Tango dancers in the world presenting the audience with a series of different shows each night, the 4th London International Tango Festival proved to be as demanding for the performers as it was a constantly changing and extremely varied spectacle for the audience. We could enjoy highly choreographed masterpieces displaying elegance and technical excellence.

The Festival took place from 14th to 17th November 2002 at the Porchester Hall in Bayswater, Central London and starred: Carlos Gavito & Maria Plazaola, Gloria & Eduardo Arquimbau, Fernanda Ghi & Guillermo Merlo, Mora Godoy & Juan Horvath, Alejandra Hobert & Adrian Veredice, Veronique Boucasse & Thiery Le Coq, Hector Villalba & Romina Tumini, Ruben “Milonga” & Patricia Parada, Liliana Nakada & Kenji Nozawa, Regina Chiappara & Martin Boteiro, Natalia Games & Gabriel Angio and The Macana Brothers with music provided by El Arrenque Orchestra. The Festival was presented by Paul Bottomer and Jane Solomon and organised and directed by Takis Kalogroulis.

The Sixth London International Tango Festival 2011 – DVD

This wonderful festival featured sixteen of the top tango dancers in the world alongside the famous Silencio Tango Orchestra for three nights of total tango at the magnificent Porchester Hall. This celebration of Argentine Tango enthralled and captivated the audience with beautifully choreographed masterpieces which displayed true passion, elegance and supreme technical excellence.
